Year4 researched, designed and built their own battery-powered cars! The entire build was completed from scratch, learning to saw wood accurately and using strengthening techniques to add stability to its chassis. Eight children represented the school at the regional celebration event in Canterbury on June 25th 2025. They showed incredible resilience, determination and courage throughout the whole event. One team was even awarded the runners-up prize in the Engineering level 1 category! Every one of the children who took part were amazing ambassadors for Phoenix!
