Maths Curriculum at Phoenix Community Primary School

 Mathematics is the study of numbers, shapes, patterns, quantity and space. We are passionate about Maths teaching and learning here at Phoenix and believe it helps to develop logical reasoning and rational thinking. Our pupils are encouraged to discuss, evaluate, hypothesise and problem solve; all qualities that are important in life, not just maths.

As well as our maths curriculum, we strive to provide a secure education in financial literacy, to enable our pupils to be successful outside of school and in everyday life.
