    Purpose of study

Religious Education (RE) is part of a broad and balanced curriculum at school which promotes their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development whilst promoting community cohesion. At Phoenix, our RE curriculum will enable pupils to discuss and analyse religious and non-religious world views and their impact on shaping individuals, communities and societies.

Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of Religious Education (RE) in accordance with national legislation. If you wish to discuss this option or request withdrawal, please contact the Headteacher in the first instance so that the school can discuss the arrangements and any alternative provision that may be appropriate during RE lessons.
