At Phoenix Community Primary School, we live out the important features of nurture throughout our school.  We endeavour to enable all pupils to develop emotionally and develop their social skills, both through direct teaching and PSHE sessions, circle time, play, assemblies and indirectly, with every conversation adults have with pupils throughout the day.

On Friday 17th January, 2026, Dr Suus-anna Harskamp from Nurture UK joined parents, children and staff to discuss how the Nurture principles run throughout our school and are lived out each day in supporting social and emotional development.
