Ain't no mountain high enough!
You may know that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we have decided that throughout the course of this term, we will be raising money for CLIC Sargent.
Kentish Express (1st October 2015)
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
They are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
Although there will be other fund-raising events planned, the staff of Phoenix School have been talking for a while now about hiking up Mount Snowdon for charity so we've decided to do it!
You can donate a number of ways:
- Via the school office
- Through our JustGiving page: http://www.justgiving.com/owner-email/pleasesponsor/teamphoenixchallenge
- By SMS message, just text PHOE60 then the amount to 70070, i.e. PHOE60 5 to donate £5
Thank you for your support (whether financial or emotional) and we will keep you updated as to our progress.
